After the successful completion of the on-the-job training of the senior Hospitality Management (HM) student Erwin M. del Poso in Busch Gardens, Virginia, U.S.A., more HM students have qualified to complete their practicum in the U.S.A.
Three HM students will complete their three-month training in Busch Gardens Europe in Williamsburg, Virginia (BGW,VA) namely: Kriscelda Salvacion, Melchor Tangcangco and Roschial Villanueva. Before qualifying into the said training, the said students passed the series of paper evaluations and oral screenings conducted by the University, Dream Search International and the management of the different partner establishments. Aside from Busch Gardens Europe, hospitality management students can also complete their international training in Busch Gardens Europe in Tampa, Florida and SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida, U.S.A.
Such international practicum opportunities enhance the global competitiveness of the HM students. Also, the students are given the rare opportunity to acquire practical knowledge, skills and desirable attitudes on actual operations in foreign establishments that observe high international standards of service.
