IT Student Receives ITE Excellence Award

The Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE) Region 3 Chapter is a premier organization of Information and Communications Technology advocating the advancement and promotion of skills and leadership among IT professionals and students.


Last March 2009, PSITE Region 3 Chapter launched the Outstanding ITE Student Award. This annual search for outstanding ITE students among PSITE Region 3 Institution members aims to recognize for graduating IT students who not only have excelled academically, but have dedicated their talents and leadership abilities in making a difference and have become socially involved in their respective institutions, communities, organizations and fields of interests, for the greater good of their constituents and members.


Ms. Angelie Faulve, an IT graduate of the School for Computer Studies (SCS), was nominated to the annual search after passing the rigid screening made by the SCS and the PSITE R3Chapter. Some of her achievements in the regional competitions are the following: Champion, Web Development and Champion, Desktop Publishing Competition; 2nd Place, VB.Net Quiz Bee.


Ms. Faulve received a gold medal and a Certificate of Excellence during the BU Commencement Exercises held last April 3, 2009.
